Projects for Sustainable Resilient and Just Futures Workshop
On Wednesday 3 April 2024, Dr Aaron Opdyke and Dr Lara Mottee, the Theme Lead and Research Lead, of our Projects for Sustainable, Resilient and Just Futures Theme held a workshop to explore which areas the research agenda of the theme can develop and grow.
The purpose of the workshop was established as to:
- Develop a collective research agenda for the Theme
- Discuss key stakeholder relationships to target engagement and;
- Identify collaboration outcomes and recommendations that the Institute can support.
We were joined by 20 other academics from across the University of Sydney, including representation from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, the School of Computer Science, the Digital Sciences Initiative, and School of Civil Engineering.
The guests shared their understanding of projects and project leadership and discussed how their disciplines can fit into and contribute to the theme.
We are diligently working on collating the ideas raised in this workshop and look forward to sharing what it develops into.
