We are excited to share that the leading members of our Project Models and Digital Transformation Theme, Dr Jin Xue and Dr Wei-Ting (Kevin) Hong have been selected as one of this year’s recipients of the Association for Project Management (APM) Fund. This fund was awarded in collaboration with Dr Yunping Liang (Assistant Professor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln) and Qiancheng Wang (PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge), and the project will be supervised by our Director, Professor Jennifer Whyte.

The winning research proposal, titled: ‘Big Data-driven Stakeholder Engagement in a Dynamic and Complex Environment of Mega Infrastructure Projects’ aims to use data-driven analytical approaches to better understand and manage stakeholder engagement within major engineering projects.

The funds will help cover costs for AI-driven data analysis services that are required to manage, process and analyse the research data.
