Project Models and Digital Transformation Workshop

On Tuesday 9 April 2024, Dr Jinman Kim and Dr Wei-Ting Hong of our Project Models and Digital Transformation Theme held a workshop to connect with other University of Sydney academics with similar research interests and to develop the research agenda of the theme.

We were joined by 20 other academics from across the University, including representation from the Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning, the Faculty of Medicine and Health, the Digital Sciences Initiative, School of Civil Engineering, and the School of Computer Science.

Dr Hong opened the session by explaining the research theme and going elaborating how digital technologies such as AI were transforming projects and in what areas. Then he passed it onto the attendees to discuss what areas within their discipline are currently drawing a lot of attention and how it fits into Project Models and Digital Transformation.

We are diligently working on collating the ideas raised in this workshop and look forward to sharing what it develops into.
