At the start of June, we welcomed the 2026 cohort of our Executive Leadership in Major Projects (ELMP) program as they commenced the first residential week at the University of Sydney campus.
The theme of the first residential was ‘Anchor’, where the participants were led through an introspective reflection to better understand themselves within so that they are able to better lead outwards. Across the week, they also explored the research on project excellence, vertical development, and immunity to change.
The week was filled with a wealth of activities, opening with a welcome event on the first night, where the participants were able to meet with our patron, John Grill AO, as well as University leaders like the Chancellor and Faculty of Engineering Dean. Other activities included a dine-in-the-dark experience, pod workshops, and an AI development lab.
There were also numerous talks and discussions hosted by experts including Dr Kate Anicenko, Dr Kaye Remington, Jo O’Reilly, and Professor Mary Lou Maher, as well as fireside chats with senior industry stalwarts like Hannah Clement (Executive General Manager, Civic Infrastructure) and Camilla Drover (Interim Chief Executive, NSW Motorways).
We are so thankful to everyone who helped make this an insightful week, especially to our cohort for joining this program. we look forward to sharing more about this journey as it unfolds!
