Major Projects Reform Roadmap Launch and Panel Discussion
Join us to celebrate the launch of our Major Projects Reform Roadmap, which was developed in collaboration with the Australian Constructors Association and Consult Australia with the aim of transforming how we plan, organise, and deliver major projects in Australia, future-proofing the industry and ensuring that we do not repeat the same mistakes that have previously led to failures in the sector.
Leading organisations within the space have already signed on and committed to this roadmap, which outlines a step-by-step action plan on how the sector can drive change and guarantee success. These recommendations are categorised around the three themes of: Productivity, Collaboration, and Outcomes.
As part of this launch, we will also be hosting a panel discussion featuring key major project leaders who will be discussing the importance of this roadmap and how it can help bring about much-needed change. This panel will be hosted by our Director, Professor Jennifer Whyte and will feature senior industry figures including Graeme Newton (CEO, Cross River Rail Delivery Authority), Tim Parker (CEO, High Speed Rail Authority), and David Watt (Executive General Manager – Commercial, Queensland Hydro).
Date and Time: Tuesday 20 August 2024, 4pm – 5pm (AEST)
Venue: Online/Zoom (Link will be provided upon registration)
